Singer Tweet's Daughter Has an Incredible Voice & She's Part of Solange's Band
Charlene Keys popularly known by her stage name, Tweet is one proud mama! The mother of one who couldn't keep the excitement of her daughter's achievements to herself went on Instagram to shower praises on her baby girl.
Although Tweet and her daughter Shenice started on a rough path, the duo who could pass as sisters has since moved on from the past and are now mother-daughter goals. The gorgeous 48-year-old who looks nothing like her age took to her Instagram page to celebrate her daughter.
Tweet posted a series of images; one of her daughter with Solange Knowles in a lovely white suit, and along with the photos, she wrote,
"PROUD MOMMY MOMENT❤❤❤ THIS BRINGS ME SO MUCH JOY!!! SHINE ON BABYGIRL @therealshenice IM SO PROUD AND HAPPY FOR YOU BECAUSE I KNOW THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE!!! I LOVE YOU AND WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT YOU AND HAVE YOUR BACK FRONT SIDE..YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! MY HEART!!! @saintrecords THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!! I KNOW SHE’S IN GREAT HANDS!! LOVE YOU!!! ❤❤❤????"
There were lots of comments, particularly about Shenice's fantastic voice with most people complimenting Tweet for passing on the musical talent to her baby girl. Shenice who has been working with award-winning star singer, Solange Knowles is nothing but talent herself. The 29-year-old has been praised for her amazing vocals which of course she got from her mama.
It is no secret however that the relationship between the mother and daughter used to be nonexistent, thanks to Tweet's alcohol indulgence. The latter once revealed that there was a time she thought her mother being an alcoholic was her fault. Shenice also confessed that growing up, her grandmother was her rock, and her mother had preferred the bottle to her daughter.
The bad blood went on for a while until Tweet got her life back and the two mended the broken walls between them. In 2017, Tweet's boyfriend, Jamal Bryant, appealed to the public to pray for the singe after she was hospitalized with blood clots in both her lungs and right arm.
Her daughter, Shenice, also posted the same message on her Instagram page asking that the public keep her mother in prayers. Years later, Tweet is not only doing well health-wise; she keeps looking younger every time. And guess what, just as Shenice shares her mother's good singing genes, she also took her good-looking genes.
