Barbra Streisand Thanked Stepson for Mother's Day Note with a Kiss (Photo)

American singer, actress, and filmmaker Barbra Streisand posted a picture of her and her stepson Josh Brolin thanking him for his mother’s day note. The picture has gotten a lot of heat from the audience as it appears as if they are about to kiss.

Barbara recently uploaded a picture on her Instagram thanking her younger son Josh for a loving mother’s day note. “Thank you for the wonderful Mother’s Day note honey. From my younger son... Josh” she captioned the post.

The picture featured Barbra’s arm around Josh’s neck and both of their lips puckered and ready for a kiss. Now that is what became the problem here, some fans praised the fact that the step mother-son have such a close bond to one another whereas some found the photo a tad creepy.

The singer is and always has never been afraid of speaking up, even if others disagree. "I believe in love and lust and sex and romance. I want someone to go crazy out of his mind for me. I want to feel passion and heat and sweat and madness. I was valentines and cupids and all of that c***. I want it all." she said in an interview.

Her straightforward speech has landed her in quite a few controversies, the most recent one being earlier this year when she made a comment about ‘Leaving Neverland’, a controversial documentary which features Michael Jackson and his predatory behavior towards young boys.

"You can say ‘molested,’ but those children, as you heard they were thrilled to be there,” she said. "I feel bad for the children. I feel bad for him. I blame, I guess, the parents, who would allow their children to sleep with him."

The actress came under fire for her crude comments as fans and celebrities crticized her for being heartless.

She later withdrew her statement and apologized to anyone who found her remarks unsuitable or unprofessional.

Justifying her stance, she said: “It’s a combination of feelings. I feel bad for the children. I feel bad for him. I blame, I guess, the parents, who would allow their children to sleep with him. Why would Michael need these little children dressed like him and in the shows and the dancing and the hats?”
