Tamron Hall Debuts 'Miracle' Baby Moses on the Cover of People Magazine
Tamron Hall looked radiant as she finally unveiled her son’s face in their first magazine cover. The new mom also shared the real reason she kept the pregnancy secret for a long time.
Hall had jaws dropping two months ago when she announced that not only was she married and pregnant, but she was also 32 weeks along.
The former “TODAY” host and her music executive husband Steven Greener welcomed baby Moses on April 24, and now we get to see the adorable infant’s face.
Hall and baby Moses are front and center on the latest issue of People Magazine, with the proud mom cradling her bundle of joy while she grinned broadly at the camera.
HEALTH CONCERNS
In an exclusive interview with the outlet, Hall also described what it was like to be pregnant at 48 and why she decided to keep news of the pregnancy to herself until a few weeks to the D-day.
The “Deadline: Crime” host revealed that her pregnancy was high-risk, “not just because of my age, but there were other medical factors too.”
PERSONAL DECISION
She added:
“My doctor said, ‘This is your body, your health. You share of your journey what you want to share.’ I was terrified I would lose this baby and I would have to go back and tell everyone that now it was bad news, and after this pregnancy had gone so far. I just wasn’t mentally prepared to deal with that. That’s why I waited. And trust me, if I could’ve gone the whole way to delivery, I would’ve.”
JOURNEY TO MOSES
Hall is head-over-heels in love with baby Moses, and even more so because the seasoned journalist almost thought she would never be a mom.
After unsuccessful fertility treatments in her 30s, Hall said the experience got more frustrating.
“When I tried in my 30s, I still felt like I had some time, and the fertility clinic felt like a bright room,” she told PEOPLE. “In my 40s I saw all the gray: The faces looked gray, the walls were gray, nothing seemed shiny and optimistic.”
PERSISTENCE PAID OFF
“Just like with my job search during that time, there were so many frustrations: I’m putting in the work, I’m taking care of my mind, and my body and I’m being rejected,” Hall continued. “I’m thinking, ‘Wait a minute. What have I done wrong here?’ Somehow, like Rocky, I kept getting up.”
Now, not only is Hall the mother to an adorable son, but she will also be making her return to daytime TV in September with her own show after being replaced on the “Today” show in 2017.
