Tiny Harris Teams up with Daughter Heiress to Pay Tribute to Nipsey Hussle
Heiress Harris speaks to her mother about Nipsey Hussle in an adorable video Tiny Harris shares. The three-year-old pays tribute to the late rapper as she reveals the color of her sister's car.
The death of Nipsey Hussle was a shock and disappointment to many fans and celebrities alike. Among them, T.I. and Tiny Harris were there to offer their condolences and support to Nipsey’s longtime girlfriend, Lauren London.
BLUE WITHOUT YOU
Lauren who has a two-year-old son with Nipsey was in utter pain after news of her boyfriend’s shooting. The 33-year-old was killed in broad daylight by a man with whom he reportedly had an altercation with earlier in the day.
Many artists in the community paid their respects to Nipsey by painting their luxury cars Nipsey Blue. These include Meek Mill, Offset and The Game. Now it appears the Harrises have joined them too and made Lauren smile even more with the help of their daughter Heiress.
In a recent clip Tiny shared on her Instagram story, Tiny asks the three-year-old what the color of her half-sister, Zonnique Pullins’ car is. The adorable little girl replies, “Nipsey’s blue.”
EMOTIONALLY SPEAKING
There’s no doubt Heiress’ familiarity of the term was a result of her parents’ love for the guy. Tiny was especially emotional when she paid tribute to Nipsey after his death. She condemned the circumstances by which he died. She wrote,
“It’s so sad that we as a ppl feel it’s ok to keep taking each other’s lives. We steady screaming Black lives matter?!! Does this not apply to the blacks that’s killing their own?!! This man had a beautiful family & now he’s been taking away frm them senselessly.”
Meanwhile, T.I. was equally emotional in several posts slamming the injustice that befell his friend. At one point he questioned, "WHY HIM AND NOT ME?" But he also made sure to offer his support for Lauren by writing, "We here for you sis."
LOVE FOREVER AND BEYOND
Lauren's agony was evident during her emotional tribute to Nipsey at his memorial service. She read a message she wrote to the later rapper while he was still alive. She told him she felt joy and security around him and promised to never give up on him.
In her eulogy, Lauren spoke of her pain and regret that their son may not even remember how much his father loved him. She described him as a brilliant and strong man, the strongest she ever knew. She vowed to love him beyond death.
Nipsey will be remembered by many not by his death but by the legacy of the life he shared with the people he loved.
