Gladys Knight Shows Her Tennis Skills on the Court Days Before Turning 75

Gladys Knight, who is popularly called the “Empress of Soul,” took to social media to share images of herself enjoying a good tennis game.

On the 21st of May, the veteran singer shared two photos taken during her leisure time on her Instagram page. The first is a picture of her in a sporty outfit, including a white tee, black form-fitting pants, and matching sports shoes. Captured as Gladys swung the bat midair, the “Midnight Train to Georgia” singer’s age-defying strength shone through.

“You’re only as old as you feel. I’ll be 75 in 8 days, but I feel so much younger. God is good! Also, I had the best tennis partners this weekend!!” her caption reads.

The entrepreneur, who loves tennis, felt youthful spending time out, and that was quite apparent as she beamed while posing with two of her friends. The trio is the perfect picture of health as they held each other in a half hug posing for the shot.

Knight, who has a rather massive fan following on the social platform, elicited a large variety of responses from her followers. Many were awestruck by the beautiful aura about the entertainer while many took the time out to send her birthday wishes in advance.
