The actress has finally revealed the secrets to her youthful glow, and the answer is so low-key it might just be the last thing you expect. The photos spanning her career tell the story better than words ever could, so do yourself a favour and scroll all the way to the end.

She has been a familiar face on British television since 1999, and the passing years seem to have left remarkably little impression on her. When Tina O'Brien finally revealed what she actually does to look so well, the reaction was instant.

The "Coronation Street" actress, 42, shared an Instagram reel on 29 March 2026 opening up about her approach to keeping her skin, hair, and nails in such good shape as she prepares to turn 43. What she had to say left viewers rather pleasantly surprised.

Rather than a glossy, multi-step regime, O'Brien's approach is, by her own admission, barely a regime at all. "The truth is, it's so embarrassingly low-key that it's almost non-existent," she told fans. "You'd think that working on television, I'd have an amazing ten-step routine by now, but sadly, I don't."

The first two things she swears by are, on the surface, entirely unremarkable. "But the things that I really do swear by are very, very simple. So I'm obsessed with sleep, and I need a minimum of 8 hours, but ideally, I'd love to get 10," the actress shared.

It is the third item on her list, though, that she is most passionate about. That third thing is collagen, and her reasoning for starting it was rooted firmly in biology.

The TV star explained that she first took an interest after learning that women begin losing collagen from their mid-20s, with the rate accelerating significantly as they approach perimenopause.

"Your body can actually lose over 30% of its collagen in just a few years," O'Brien said. "So I thought, 'Right, okay, if I'm going to be losing it anyway, I think it's time I better start topping it up.'"

She has since been adding a supplement from a brand called Elavate to her morning yoghurt or shake, framing her entire philosophy as prevention over cure. The changes, she said, have been visible.

"This is my skin now, and I just feel like it just looks so much brighter, more hydrated. I just feel like I've got some of its bounce back to it," she revealed. "And it turns out it's actually not just my skin either, because my nails, they're just, they're growing ridiculously."

O'Brien was also candid about her own initial doubts. "And like most people with things that I see online, I am very sceptical, but I do genuinely think this works," she shared, noting that what she values most is how easily it fits around her existing routine.

Netizens for their part, were less focused on collagen and rather more preoccupied with the woman delivering the message as the comments came flooding in.

"Wow 43 you do not look it not a day over 21 what's your secret? ❤️xx" wrote one astonished person, while another was just as complimentary, adding, "You haven't aged a day since 1999 you look fab."

"You don't age at all 🙌🙌" said a third, and a fourth was equally convinced, declaring, "You still look like you're in your 20's 🙌"

A fifth summed up what many seemed to be thinking with, "That's true she hasn't really aged in the last 20 + years." A sixth person added warmly, "You always look so fresh and rejuvenated- thanks for sharing this 😍👏🔥."

"You are the most gorgeous girl in the whole world," read another response, and for one fan, the approaching birthday only deepened the admiration, as they typed, "And yet you're unbelievably gorgeous ❤️🔥🔥."

The final word went to a netizen who simply wrote, "One of the most beautiful women I have ever seen absolutely stunning Tina 🔥🔥😍😍."
