What to Know About the Next Season of ‘The Voice’ and Who the Judges Are
The 16th season of ‘The Voice’ came to an end on Tuesday and the production team is already backed up planning for season 17. The question is, who will be the coaches in the coming season.
The iconic singing competition successfully cleared its 16th season on Tuesday. Maelyn Jarmon was crowned the winner after their two-day finale during which 4 contestants went head to head and dazzled the crowds with their vocals.
Jarmon auditioned with "Fields of Gold." and turned all 4 chairs. She decided to go with the new coach John Legend and continued to amaze everyone watching. In the finale, she sang her heart out with her original single "Wait For You,” and the results only seem fair. The singer has impeccable sense of music.
With the season ending, the coaches also have some time off to themselves. However, the voice team announced through their twitter on May 10 that all 4 coaches will be returning for more of the voice. “A group of Coaches so good we need an encore,” the Tweet read.
The good news is, coaches Kelly, Adam, Blake, and John are all returning to the show with the same shady comments, personal anecdotes, and friendly rivalry. With team John taking the 16th season title, he is no longer the new kid on the block.
Adam and Blake have been with the show since 2011 when it began marking the end of 8 years together. Kelly, on the other hand, has only been with the show for three years but has taken her team to victory two out of those three times.
The beloved ‘Host-with-the-most’ Carson Daly will be back with his charming sass. Although the return date of the show is yet to be announced, the network will be bringing the order back the airing times at 8:00 pm EST. If everything goes back to the way it was, we will be tuning into the show from September.
