Joe Mantegna's Daughter Shares ‘Best Day Ever’ Photo with Sam Elliott
Gia Mantegna has high regards for Hollywood icon Sam Elliott, and she proved it by sharing a special photo on her social media.
A couple of days ago, the daughter of “Criminal Minds” star, Joe Mantegna, took to Instagram to post an image of herself being embraced by the Hollywood hunk, Elliott.
Mantegna gushed all about it in the caption, writing, “Yesterday I lounged in a room filled with kittens and then was held by this man. Best. Day. Ever.”
It wasn’t a surprise that like Mantegna herself, many of her followers on Instagram also turned out to be a big fan of Elliott.
Several of them took to the comments section to express their envy at Mantegna getting the opportunity to be with the actor.
One of the fans exclaimed, “You’re with one of the baddest dudes in Hollywood.” Similarly, Instagram user, “browneyedgirl0629” wrote, “I can’t even begin to tell you how jealous I am…”
Mantegna’s post also received several other comments that praised Elliot. Some praised his good looks, while others were more specific in pointing out that the actor had got “best mustache ever.”
Amid the fans, a few celebrities also chimed in to drop a comment and talk about their adoration for Elliot.
Actress Lili Simmons wrote that she was “obsessed” by the post, whereas Aparna Brielle wrote that she was “living for this.”
Mantegna is today one of the celebrated actresses in her own right. She made her debut in the entertainment industry at the age of 13 with the movie, “Uncle Nino.”She also starred alongside her father in season three of “Criminal Minds” with a guest appearance.
Mantegna’s Instagram post has come only a few weeks after her father announced his retirement from “Criminal Minds” after 15 years of the playing the same role.
Taking to Twitter, the star bid goodbye to the show and shared that he was “satisfied” with what he accomplished on the show.
In August last year, another actor also departed from the show, although for a completely different reason.
Actor Thomas Gibson, who played Aaron Hotchner, had to leave the show after he was involved in a violent incident with one of the show’s producers.
