Honey Boo Boo Tearfully Explains Why She Doesn’t Live with Mama June
Mama June's daughters have had enough! They staged an intervention to deal with her alleged drug use in the emotional finale of her reality show.
ET gave fans a sneak peek into Sunday's upcoming episode of "Mama June: From Not to Hot." During the episode, her daughter, Honey Boo Boo aka Alana Thompson, burst into tears during an emotional speech.
The young girl tries to explain to her mother why she moved out. She attempts to connect with her mother, June Shannon, emotionally and make her understand what she is feeling.
"Do you not understand that I'm staying with my sister and that's not by choice?" the 13-year-old says, on the verge of tears. "I swear to god, Mama, it's not by choice."
June however does not see it that way and begins to deny and negate Alana's claims. In response, Alana begins to shout a response.
"It's not by choice! …I would love to come home and stay with you and tell you about my day but I can't do that because I'm scared. I'm not even gonna lie to you, I'm scared to stay at your house," yelled Alana emotionally.
June stands impassively as her daughter breaks down. Fans also noted that June's front teeth appear visibly damaged during the discussion.
In an aside later in the show, Joanne Shannon, June's sister, noted how strange her sister was behaving. She shook her head saying,
"It didn't even faze her. I mean, Alana's crying. This is not who June is. You got your children crying, tellin' you to get it together, we're here for you, you need help. I don't know if she's just numb or totally delusion about what she's seeing us trying to do."
In a previous sneak peek, viewers were shown a clip from another moment in the intervention. In one scene, June threatens to call the police if they don't allow her to leave.
"If this intervention doesn't work, she's going to wind up in jail or she's going to die," claimed Lauryn "Pumpkin" Thompson.
Shortly after June is seen falling down in the street as friends and family attempt to talk to her. Her children appear frustrated and upset throughout the intervention.
The family also touched on June's recent arrest with her boyfriend, Eugene "Geno" Doak's during the intervention. The pair were taken into custody in March for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
"If this intervention doesn't work, she's going to wind up in jail or she's going to die," explained her 19-year-old daughter, Lauryn "Pumpkin" Thompson.
May also seems to be packed with drama for Mama June. Earlier this month, it was reported that she was still addicted to gambling and reported even claimed she was living in an Alabama casino with her boyfriend, Geno Doak.
