Janine Mueller of 'My 600-Lb Life' Has Lost Weight and Found Love

A Seattle, Washington woman first appeared on TLC's “My 600-LB Life” last year, trying to lose weight. She finally managed to lose most of the weight and looks amazing!

MUELLER WEIGHED 678LBS

When Janine Mueller, 55, first appeared on “My 600-LB Life” she weighed 678lbs. She had been pretty much immobile for almost 10 years and even struggled to get around on a scooter

During a January 2018 episode of the show, Mueller was seen falling apart as she made her way to the airport. At the time she was going to go see Dr. Younan Nowzaradan in Houston.

SHE JOINED TLC'S SHOW TO LOSE THE WEIGHT

In an amazing turnaround, after a two-year battle with Nowzaradan’s help, Wednesday’s episode revealed that Mueller is now down to 247lbs! She’s also ready to get skin removal surgery after losing 431lbs.

The woman has lost almost two-thirds of her body weight! She also found love after joining a dating agency and getting a wig!

ADOPTIVE PARENT CAUSED WEIGHT GAIN ISSUES

Mueller was adopted when she was just two months old. By the time she was three, she was put on a diet by her adoptive mother.

Mueller claimed that her adoptive mother made her take diet pills the following year and that triggered her weight gain. To save her life, Nowzaradan inserted a balloon into her stomach to try and curb her appetite.

MUELLER GOES ON A WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM

A month later she shed 42 pounds and was down by 112 pounds and weighed 566 pounds. In the second year of the weight loss program, Mueller still struggled but managed to lose 7lbs in the second month of the balloon being inserted.

She then began going to therapy and managed to shed another 82lbs in two months! That brought her overall weight down to 478lbs.

SHE HAS SURGERY TO REMOVE A LEG MASS

Mueller was then ready for surgery and had a Lymphedema mass removed from on her right leg. The mass on its own weighed close to 40lbs!

Despite the weight loss, she still struggled to get out of bed and walk because of the pain she felt. She then spent some time in rehabilitation and the balloon was eventually taken out.

DOCTOR APPROVES HER WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY

The doctor approved her weight loss surgery. After the surgery, she returned to therapy for physical rehabilitation and lost more than 80lbs leaving her at 325lbs.

SHE STARTS WALKING AND LOSES MORE WEIGHT!

In an effort to start being mobile she began using her walker instead of the scooter. That’s when she joined a dating website because of her newfound confidence.

MUELLER STARTS DATING AND REACHES 247LBS!

She also got a sexy red wig and met a man named Doug. The two began dating and he even accompanied her to a weigh-in with Nowzaradan and asked him, "Notice anything different about me today?"

The doctor responded: “I thought I would never see the day that you come here without your scooter so I’m proud of your progress.” During her weigh-in, she found out she had lost another 44lbs and eventually she reached 247lbs!

WEIGHT LOSS CONTESTANT WHO WAS ONCE 570LBS

Another participant who lost weight on the show was Angel Parrish. When she joined the show at her heaviest weight she was around 570lbs.

She now weighs less than 200lbs! New episodes of “My 600-LB Life” air on TLC on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
