Beyoncé's Rarely Seen Nephew Shows up for Grandma Tina's Wearable Art Gala

Tina Knowles' 14-year-old grandson, Julez Smith showed up at her art event with his father, Solange Knowles' ex-husband. The father and son who rarely make public appearances were photographed looking dapper in matching outfits.

Tina Knowles hosted an art gala in the weekend and her family members came to support her, including her grandson who rarely appears publicly.

ABOUT TINA'S RARELY SEEN GRANDSON

Not many may know this but Tina has a handsome grandson named Julez Smith courtesy of her daughter, Solange Knowles. Solange, who’s also Beyonce’s younger sister was once married to Julez’s father, Daniel Smith from 2004 to 2007. Their son is now 14 and he showed up at Tina’s Wearable Art Gala along with his father.

Julez arrived wearing a black tunic with matching pants and he stood out sporting short blonde hair.

TWINNING WITH HIS DAD

Since the event had a “Lion King” inspired theme, Julez arrived wearing a black tunic with matching pants and he stood out sporting short blonde hair. His father, who posed with him for a photo during the event matched him with a similar tunic set but with a slightly different collar.

Tina has been careful about sharing too much of her grandson, especially after she made the mistake of posting a screenshot of his Instagram account.

It’s not every day we see Julez in Tina’s feeds but he appeared shortly in the capsule clip (below) which she posted on Instagram summarizing the events of the night.

While Tina opted not to share photos of Julez at the gala, she did share photos of Beyonce and her daughter, Blue Ivy who arrived in their lion queen-inspired outfits.

KEEPING THINGS PRIVATE

Tina has been careful about sharing too much of her grandson, especially after she made the mistake of posting a screenshot of his Instagram account.

Julez is apparently new to the social media site and Tina proudly welcomed him by taking a photo of his account name and sharing it to the world. However, it turns out Julez prefers to keep his account private prompting Tina to delete her post.

TINA'S MORE PUBLIC LION QUEENS

While Tina opted not to share photos of Julez at the gala, she did share photos of Beyonce and her daughter, Blue Ivy who arrived in their lion queen-inspired outfits. The songstress’ gold jumpsuit with a cape had a lion’s head at the center and feathers to represent a mane.

Meanwhile, her daughter called attention to her fluffy yellow gown with a giant headdress. A clip shared by Beyonce even featured her singing “Circle of Life.”

All the hype over “The Lion King” is a nod to Beyonce’s latest film where she stars as the character Nala’s voice. The Disney live-action version will be released in July. Tina managed to pull off a sponsorship from the film giant for her gala which proved to be a success as her guests paraded in tribal-inspired creations. Other stars sighted that night include Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Tyler Perry, Tiffany Haddish, and Jesse Williams.
