Tami Roman and her longtime boyfriend, Reggie Youngblood have been secretly married for a year. The couple reportedly tied the knot in Las Vegas despite previously shunning marriage talk.

“Basketball Wives” star Tami Roman is already a football wife and we didn’t know it. The reality star has been reportedly married to her longtime boyfriend, Reggie Youngblood since the third quarter of last year.

IT'S BEEN ALMOST A YEAR

According to The Blast, the couple obtained a marriage license in Las Vegas on August 17, 2018, and wed that same day. None of us knew this because they’ve kept it a secret all this time.

"We're in a good place and I don't think we need to put any pressure on ourselves about having that piece of paper."

WHY WE DIDN'T SUSPECT

In January, Tami alluded to still being unmarried when she insinuated she and Reggie were in a good place and didn’t want the pressure of marriage to rock the boat. Sitting down with Entertainment Tonight who inquired about her marriage plans, the 49-year old said,

"We've talked about it. We've kicked it around. We're really good. We're in a good place and I don't think we need to put any pressure on ourselves about having that piece of paper and when the moment presents itself, we'll jump out there and do it."

Now it seems Tami’s statement was just a ruse to distract fans from the truth. She was already married at the time of the interview.

"The bravest thing I've ever done is learn to stand still and let God MOVE.”

Looking back, Tami shared a cryptic post the day before she tied the knot with Reggie and it’s clearer now.

"The bravest thing I've ever done is learn to stand still and let God MOVE,” she wrote.

There were rumors months before they wed that the couple had split up after Tami unfollowed and deleted photos of Reggie on her social media.

Tami, who was previously married to NBA star Kenny Anderson from 1994 to 2001, had been dating Reggie, a top NFL prospect turned businessman since 2014. They appeared together on “Basketball Wives” and on one season of “Marriage Boot Camp.”

There were rumors months before they wed that the couple had split up after Tami unfollowed and deleted photos of Reggie on her social media. However, the 32-year-old dismissed this by telling his followers on Instagram that he and Tami “are riding together until the wheels fall off.”
