"It’s bittersweet that Criminal Minds is coming to an end. But I’m grateful that unlike some shows, we were given the time to plan a proper series finale."

Fourteen years is indeed a lot, and the memories made by the cast and crew members of "Criminal Minds" will most likely last them a lifetime.

The 48-year-old who played Dr. Tara Lewis on the show also had something to say about her character who she described as "fearless." She said:

"Tara Lewis has been a lot of fun to play. She’s incredibly smart. She’s really passionate and fearless. Even though she’s tough—she’s there to fight evil guys—she hasn’t lost her soul. I love the combination of hyper-intellectual and just ballsy badass lady."

Apart from acting in notable shows and movies, Tyler is also a director, and she made her directing debut with the 2017 drama, "Axis" and also directed several episodes on "Criminal Minds."

While speaking on how thrilled she is about her directing career, Tyler said:

"I like acting, but when you’re a director, you get to care for everybody. So it’s a much more interesting creative light for me."

But don't worry, Tyler isn't done with acting just yet. She went on to state that her interest in directing has nothing to do with her acting career. She said:

"I’m sure I’ll still act, but kind of on the Clint Eastwood/Ben Affleck model. Sometimes they act, sometimes they direct, sometimes they do both in the same project."

She then went on to reveal her secret to a healthy lifestyle. According to Tyler, she eats the same breakfast every day and only switches it up once in every three or four months. Not only does she maintain a healthy diet, but she also loves to row, and she will do that four to five days a week.

Who is excited and ready to see all the delicious twists in the season finale of "Criminal Minds?"
