Anna Nicole Smith's Daughter Dannielynn Gets a Surprise From Her Dad for Graduating Grade 7

Anna Nicole Smith’s 12-year-old just graduated seventh grade and received a lavish gift from her father -- Hamilton Musical tickets!

Dannielynn Birkhead reached a milestone in her education after having graduated from the seventh grade. Her father, Larry Birkhead, thought her accomplishment was worthy of a sweet extravagant gift and so he surprised his young adult with Hamilton tickets.

Birkhead posted a photo collage of him and his daughter, who eagerly held up the musical tickets in a pink and white floral dress while flashing a big smile. In another photo, the 12-year-old can be seen hugging her father.

“Surprised Dannielynn with @hamiltonmusical tickets for her 7th grade graduation. I think she was happy!” the proud father shared on Twitter.

During her early years, it was unsure who the new graduate’s father was, until a DNA result in 2007 ruled that Birkhead was the biological father of Dannielynn. After Smith’s demise, Birkhead had full custody of his daughter.

He did all that he could to give his daughter a normal childhood as he stood as both a father and a mother to her. Although he is not perfect, he knows he is doing an outstanding job being a parent.

“I'm not the best dad, I have my faults, but I do the best I can with what the situation is. We make the best of it, and I think Dannielynn's best days are still to come. She's got such a bright future in front of her, and I try every day to keep a little bit of the memory alive of her mom," Birkhead explained.

The father-daughter duo celebrated Mother’s Day together this year which the photographer took to Twitter to show his teenager who looks like a spitting image of her mom.

Dannielynn grew up without her mother, Anna Nicole Smith, who died five months after she was born. She also lost her half brother, Daniel Wayne Smith, who overdosed from drugs while she was a baby.

During a trip to the Bahamas in 2006, Daniel visited his mother who had just given birth to Dannielynn, yet what was a sweet gesture turned out to be a tragic event. On Sunday morning, the 20-year-old boy was found unconscious in Smith’s hospital room.

After doctors came in, he was pronounced dead. However, investigations showed that there were no signs of foul play. The following day, his autopsy report ruled an accidental drug overdose as the cause of death.
