Beyoncé's publicist issued a statement after her fans made death threats to a woman who spoke to Jay Z at a basketball game.

Beyoncé's publicist Yvette Noel-Schure addressed Beyoncé's fans on Instagram after a ringside incident at a Golden State Warriors basketball game.

The incident went viral on social media and resulted in a series of death threats by Beyoncé's fans to the wife of the Warriors' owner.

"Just spoke to Nicole Curran, the wife of Warrior's owner Joe Lacob, about the 'incident' with Beyoncé last night. She was in tears. Said she had been getting death threats on social media all night." Yvette Noel-Schure

The "Lemonade" singer and her husband Jay Z attended Game 3 of the 2019 NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors on June 6 as guests of the Warriors' owner, Joe Lacob.

At one point during the game, Lacob's wife Nicole Curran, who was sitting next to Beyoncé, leaned across her to speak to her husband. The Queen Bee gave the woman a side-look that had the Beyhive buzzing angrily.

According to Shelburne, Curran was asking Jay Z if he wanted lime with his vodka soda, but since there was so much noise in the stadium, she leaned over Beyoncé to hear him.

Beyoncé Knowles, who has been married to Jay Z since 2008 and shares 3 children with the singer has not addressed the incident directly.
