Grace Kelly’s Granddaughter Takes Inspiration from Her Iconic Granny Prior to Her Acting Debut

Beauty isn’t the only thing that Jazmin Grace Grimaldi inherited from her grandmother, Grace Kelly--the 27-year-old is taking inspiration from her actress-turned-royal grandma to make a debut in the acting world.

Grimaldi took to Instagram to share a photo of herself clad in a costume in a now-deleted post. “And that’s a wrap… for now. Thank you for a MARVELOUS first experience!” Grimaldi captioned the post.

Grimaldi will appear in the third season of Amazon Prime’s hit show “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.”

In another post, the 27-year-old shared how she was taking inspiration from her grandmother for her career in acting. Sharing a photo of Kelly, she wrote: “In light of recent acting work, I couldn’t help but walk down memory lane and draw inspiration from my beautiful Grandmothers Grace and Jean! Miss and love you both!”

According to Page Six, the actress had a “great time” filming the series.

GRIMALDI WAS BORN TO A ROYAL FATHER

Grimaldi is the love child of Monaco’s Prince Albert and waitress Tamara Rotolo. The duo was blessed with a child following a fling they had in 1991 while Tamara was on a vacation on the French Riviera.

Grimaldi was 11 years old when Prince Albert acknowledged their paternity after an extended court process.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she said that she missed not having a father figure around when she hadn’t met him.

“I wanted that moment to connect with my father, to get to know him, and to have him get to know me,” she said. “Not having had that figure around, I missed that. It’s wonderful that it happened when it did, and we’ve been enjoying a great relationship ever since.”

It is amazing how Grimaldi is getting inspired by Kelly although they never met. Speaking about the time she felt a connection to her famous grandmother, she said:

“It was the first time I realized we had a connection. I’m passionate about acting, singing, and dancing. I saw that in her in this movie. It was a real goosebumps moment for me.”

Since her parents were never married, Grimaldi is not in the line of succession to Monaco’s throne.
