Joanna Gaines Reveals Surprising Celebrity Crush She Had While Dating Chip

Joanna Gaines revealed her celebrity crush which she's kept a secret from fans for years. Unsurprisingly, husband Chip already knows who it is.

Joanna, 41, took to her Instagram story and shared a now-expired picture of her celebrity crush — and it was no other than 72-year-old David Letterman. Who would have thought?

According to People magazine, the "Fixer Upper" star keeps the photo in her and Chip's company headquarters in Waco, Texas. The two own a home decor business called Magnolia.

Above the image, Joanna wrote her excuse for putting up the picture of the television host:

"True story, when Chip and I were dating he asked me who my celebrity crush was. I quickly answered and said @letterman. This story justifies taking this picture for sure.”

If Chip, 44, was cool with his wife's crush before, we're pretty sure that 16 years of marriage later, he doesn't have anything to worry about.

The beloved home improvement couple has five children now, one-year-old Crew, Emmie, eight, Ella and Duke, 12, and Drake, 13, and they've got tons more fans who absolutely adore them.

In fact, earlier this week the two were interrupted during a date night at Nolo's Kitchen and Bar by fans eager to get a photograph of their favorite celebrities.

It happened within the business itself, where the staff and other patrons went over for pictures. Thankfully, the lovely couple didn't make an issue out of it although they had asked for a private dining experience."

The reality stars are not only talented and friendly, but they're also smart. They both just finished a Harvard Business School course. Joanna shared the news to her Instagram account.

Starting with a picture of Chip, she posted a few photos, including one of her and her husband holding their diploma for a Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports program. Their professor stood in between them.

In the caption, she wrote:

"Course complete! School looks good on you @chipgaines #ChipForClassPrez"

Other celebrities, including Ciara, were also pictured in the photos she uploaded. Another post that Joanna shared featured a lengthy caption in which she spoke about her appreciation for the challenge and perspectives she gained through the experience.
