Jessa Duggar Shares Touching Photos of Her Baby Girl Amid the Passing of Grandma Mary
Amidst the announcement of the saddening news that her grandmother has passed on, Jessa Duggar took to Instagram to share a string of photos of her newborn daughter.
Jessa took to social media to celebrate her new bundle of joy, Ivy Jane. The reality star shared six photos of the sweet little newborn few days ago.
Fondly captioned with a heart emoji and the words, “baby girl,” the photos showed Ivy Jane in a maroon colored baby outfit which is a high contrast against her adorable pink skin.
The snuggly images are too cute and are indeed unique coupled with the fact that Ivy Jane is just a few weeks old having only been born late last month; May 26.
In awe, fans took to the comments section to compliment the photos thus leading to the barely two-day old photos amassing well over 2,000 comments and about 200,000 likes already!
Ivy Jane is the third child born to Jessa and Ben Seewald. This sweet photo of her was posted just before the unexpected demise of her great grandmother, Mary, who she, coincidentally, shares a birthday with.
The set of photos make Jessica’s latest post on Instagram since she hasn't publicly responded to the sad news of Mary’s demise. The Duggars officially announced the tragic news on the same day Jessa posted the photo on Sunday, June 9, via Facebook. The heartfelt post read:
“We are so sad to share that Grandma Duggar (Mary) passed away Sunday afternoon, June 9th, 2019. Mary Lester Duggar grew up in Farmington, Arkansas and was married almost 50 years to J.L. (Jimmy Lee) Duggar who preceded her in death,”
The Duggars are a rather tight-knit family, and Mary, who was a real estate broker, has appeared on their famous reality shows, “19 Kids & Counting” and “Counting On.” They will surely miss her, and most member of the family are already taking to social media to describe the 78-year-old lovingly.
Jill took to Instagram on Sunday to share that her "heart breaks" thinking that Mary is forever gone while Jinger paid a heartwarming tribute to Mary, remembering her as a "grandma, counselor, and friend."
While Jessa is yet to make any statement as regards Mary's death, her latest Instagram post which are the photos of her newborn child reminds fans that the Duggars will find celebrating Ivy Jane a welcome respite from Mary's demise.
