Phaedra Parks' Ex Apollo Nida Back in Jail 9 Days after Prison Release

Phaedra Parks' ex-husband Apollo Nida is back in jail just 9 days after he was released. He was arrested once again after parole violations.

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Apollo Nida was released from jail nine days ago. However, after violating the terms of his parole while he was serving the rest of his sentence at a halfway home, he is back to square one.

According to a representative of the United States Marshals, Nida was arrested only days after being released and placed in a halfway home in Philadelphia. Of course, he had a couple of rules to follow while living there, which he broke.

A Supposed Early Release Date

While it was not disclosed which rules he violated, it was enough to have authorities get him from there and move him back to prison again. Now, the reality TV star can remain in jail until his original release date of October 15, 2019.

After being released from prison, Apollo Nida was spotted looking crisp while out and about with his fiance, Sherien Almufti. He and Almufti made up for their lost time by going on a date, just a few meters away from the halfway house where he was staying to finish his sentence.

A Long-Distance Relationship

The former TV star and his fiance continued to have a strong relationship with one another despite being away for his prison sentence, which practically took up almost all the time of their relationship. They began their union just a couple of months after Phaedra Parks filed for divorce because of what her then-husband was going through.

Nida was convicted for wire and bank fraud, which he pled guilty to in 2014. He was sentenced to 8 years, but a federal judge ultimately reduced his sentence.

Now, Sherien will have to wait even more for her to be able to marry her boyfriend, as he went straight to prison for his new violations.
