Kate Gosselin Gets Candid Why She Won't 'Rush into Another Relationship' 10 Years after Divorce

Kate Gosselin is finally getting back in the dating game, but she has revealed that she is still in no way ready to “rush things.”

The famous reality star recently featured in an interview by People Now. It was there she disclosed the characteristics she mainly looks out for when it comes to searching for love and also how she doesn't desire to “rush” things.

Gosselin rose to fame as her and her former husband, Jon, TLC series, “Jon and Kate Plus 8” quickly became rather popular. Now long separated, the couple has taken up different endeavours and Kate's is now getting back on the dating track.

The mother of eight now has a TLC series titled “Kate Plus Date.” It is specially created to follow her adventures seeking out love once again.

It is, however, not as easy as it may sound because the TV personality hasn't dated anyone since she broke up with Jon about a decade ago!

Aside from that, she has eight grown children, the 18-year-old twins, Cara and Madelyn and her 15-year-old sextuplets, Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel and Leah to consider.

Gosselin said:

“I used to look for qualities that I liked as a person, but now I have to look for qualities that we all like.”

While Kate has become a spectacular woman because of her uniquely large brood, that fact proves a bit tricky when it comes to dating.

The fact that she has also had a very public divorce doesn't make matters any easier for the 44-year-old. According to Gosselin, her experience with a failed marriage has made her somewhat sensitive and “guarded.”

Gosselin:

“The truth is, it is not a secret I went through a very public divorce. That wasn’t pleasant. I feel like, for that very reason, I am very guarded, and I don’t tend to trust people. I don’t think that’s a bad thing. I certainly don’t want to rush into another relationship. The pressure is on for it to be positive and successful for all of our sakes.”

Despite this, Gosselin has expressed hopes of meeting the perfect partner. However, that, she and her twin daughters asserted, doesn't include a man that wants kids.

Gosselin’s daughter, Mady jokingly said:

“We already have enough kids.”

Thankfully, Gosselin has her children ever ready to offer her full support at all times. The twins, who are just on the verge of adulthood, have especially shown great understanding and excitement while discussing their mother dating again.
