Dr. Oz Lovingly Embraces His Grandchildren in an Adorable Birthday Tribute (Photos)

Dr. Oz will soon have another grandchild to play with as Daphne, who is an author and television host like him, will soon welcome her fourth child with husband John Jovanovic.

Daphne, who co-hosts the ABC daytime talk show “The Chew,” is the eldest of Dr. Oz’s four children with wife, Lisa.

“I spoil them with toys. We bought Philo an ice cream cart. There’s no ice cream in it, but she pretends to sell it to us."

STEALING THE SPOTLIGHT

Dr. Oz, a heart surgeon and wellness guru, has been public about his affection with his grandchildren, who once stole the spotlight during his talk show.

John Jr., 4, and Philomena, 3, made a guest appearance on their grandfather’s show, melting the viewers’ hearts. Dr. Oz shared photos of them on the set, on Instagram.

The first picture shows Philomena and John Jr. sharing a makeup chair while getting ready to go on stage with their famous grandfather.

The second picture shows the two siblings waiting outside the door to the stage, as Dr. Oz captioned the picture. The two children were joined by their mother, Daphne.

HE LOVES SPOILING HIS GRANDCHILDREN

Dr. Oz has said he likes spoiling his grandchildren.

“They know they can get anything they want from me!” he said in 2017. “I spoil them with toys. We bought Philo an ice cream cart. There’s no ice cream in it, but she pretends to sell it to us. She’s very commercial!”

Daphne also shared that her children enjoy being with their grandparents.

“The kids are obsessed with my parents!” she said. “They just have the best time together.”

Dr. Oz’s success has clearly not kept him from enjoying quality time with his family.

From 1999-2004, Oz was named a "Global Leader of Tomorrow" by the World Economic Forum. He was also listed on Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2008.
