A Twitter user shared a series of images showing the Countess of Wessex side by side with Prince Edwards in an adorable dress with matching hat and an infectious smile. The post was captioned:

"The Earl and Countess of Wessex at the #RoyalAscot, the day before their 20th wedding anniversary."

Other members of the royal also graced the event with their presence. Her Majesty the Queen was present for the race, Camilla Parker Bowles, Duchess of Cornwall, with her husband, Prince Charles were all pictured at the event.

The couple has had a powerful bond that oozed of love and compassion. Their marriage is blessed with two children, Lady Louisa and James. The family of four intends on spending this remarkable time together unperturbed.

The duo's relationship dates as far back as 1993 when they met at a tennis court. In 1999, however, they exchanged vows at the Windsor Castle, in a seemingly "subtle" marriage ceremony in comparison to the wedding ceremony of other royals'. Since then, they have been intertwined in their love web.

Prince Edward happens to be the youngest of all the Queen's children, and holds a record of a successful marriage, as opposed to his brothers, Prince Andrews, and Prince Charles, who had divorced their spouses.

The Wessex's chose to wax stronger in their love story, and the common factor responsible is nothing but love! The Prince made this clear when he commented on his wedding day,

"We manage to have a good laugh about things most of the time, and we happen to love each other. Which is the most important thing of all."

Over time, the pair have supported each other, and while Sophie relinquished her duty as PR in 2002, to focus on royal duties, her husband also became heavily involved in acting out his royal obligations.

The Prince's flair for sports and arts has allowed him to be an active member of different sporting organizations and committees, such as the Paralympics GB, Northern Ballet, and the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain.

His wife's involvement in charities is also as a result of her love for agriculture, aiding the less privileged, etc. Their contributions are duly recognized, and they have successfully been able to put their heads together and use their area of interest to impact the world.

In 2015, The Queen hosted over 400 guests in Buckingham Palace to celebrate their accomplishments in charities! These two will surely last a lifetime, and we wish them a continuous happy ever after!
