Rain Brown Shares Family Photo of 'Alaskan Bush People' with a Smiling Ami Brown
In a recent social media post, Rain Brown congratulated her friends Gabe Brown and his wife Raquell Rose Pantilla after they tied the knot for the second time.
“Alaskan Bush People” reality star Gabe tied the knot with Raquell for the second time in five months and her best friend Rainy could not be any happier.
Sharing a family photo in her Instagram, Rainy wrote:
“YAY! My besties Gabe and Raquell tied the knot! (Again heehee) Had a wonderful day with some wonderful people, so proud of Gabe and Raquell.. May your new life together be amazing and full of love and wonder!”
What was especially remarkable about the photo was Ami Brown’s presence and it was one of the first since she bested stage 4 lung cancer. A smile played on her lips as she posed with her loved ones for the picture.
Gabe and Raquell met through Rain before they got into a relationship on February 14, 2018. Gabe opened up about how she met the man of her life through her friend in an episode of the Discovery Channel series.
“When we were in California, [little sister] Rain made a friend, and then I kind of made that same friend, and now we're kind of more than friends. We're kind of dating and it's really cool."
Things moved quickly for the couple and they got married in a secret ceremony in Washington in January. Their second union was attended by family and friends.
In an interview with PEOPLE, the newlyweds shared her experience of having their family by their er side for the big day.
“I’m so happy my family, especially my mom, could be by our side on our special day. Raquell is my one true love and we’re really grateful to have met each other. God is good,” Gabe said.
Raquell, evidently ecstatic about her new life as a wife, gushed about her husband, saying:
“Gabe is the most loving, kind and funny guy I know – he makes me laugh every day. I’m so excited to start our lives together and thankful for the support of our friends and family and to God for bringing us together.”
The ceremony fell near the 40th wedding anniversary of Ami and Billy, who agreed that seeing the couple get married is the best gift they could have received.
