Venus Williams Is Chic yet Casual in White Outfit & Waist Length Braids

Tennis star Venus Williams might be a sportswoman but the star is proving even sporty ladies can make a fashion statement. Her recent Instagram post is a testament to her stylish ways.

Fans of Venus Williams were left awestruck after she posted a stunning pic earlier this week. The star looked great in an all-white outfit.

She paired the pretty ensemble with a classy tan trenchcoat and a pair of white sneakers. The outfit was further complimented by her long trendy braids.

The relaxed star rested casually against the railing of the staircase and smiled slightly at the camera. She captioned the post:

"The sun finally came out after a week of rain. I’m passing through the all England Club but on the way to Birmingham UK to play. Honestly I can’t wait!!!"

Her sister commented "so pretty!!!" and her fans could not agree more. The post got over 37000 likes and fans flooded the comments section.

"I love your braids, just gorgeous inside and out," gushed one fan. Another added, "Beautiful! Wimbledon! Good luck and go get it!"

The picture was taken at Wimbledon in the United Kingdom. Williams is currently in Wimbledon to play the tune-up tournament.

This is just the fourth time in her career that she is playing the tune-up tournament. On Wednesday, she beat Aliaksandra Sasnovich and won a spot in the second round of the Nature Valley Classic in Birmingham.

"I though today was a really strong start, actually. A pretty cool match. Not a lot of errors and my opponent played really, really well," Venus said. "So I know that I'm going to have to play well from hereon out and just to be able to play some patches and, you know, and get my feet on the grass is a really good feeling."

The star recently collaborated with Shop with Golf, NBCUniversal's first-of-its-kind content commerce platform with GOLF Channel, and launched EleVen by Venus Williams. The clothing line is aimed at female golfers.

Last year the fashionista tennis star also showed off her stunning style. She posed at the Prince de Galles in Paris.

In the pic, posted to Instagram, she donned another sleeveless top and paired it with skintight jeans. She gathered her long braided hair to one side while lounging at an al fresco cafe.

She completed her outfit with a pair of giant sunglasses. Her caption simply read, "C’est la vie! Deja vu and all that! J’adore P."
