Four British Men Stabbed in Big Magaluf Brawl Following Alleged Robbery
Four British men have recently been stabbed in Magaluf after a massive fight broke out between them and couple of street vendors who allegedly robbed them.
It has been reported that the incident took place at around 4:15 am in Punta Ballena, a very popular area among tourists who go there to have a good time.
The authorities are currently investigating the case but it seems that one one of the British men retaliated at one of the vendors and a knife was brandished.

EMERGENCY SERVICES HAD A QUICK RESPONSE
The brawl escalated after people in the vicinity piled in and paramedics had a very hard time identifying the people who had been stabbed.
At the time of the confrontation, an emergency services vehicle was in the neighborhood and quickly rushed to the scene, only to find a sea of people a lot of blood on the street.

One of the victims managed to get a hold of his attacker and restrained him with the help of a paramedic until the police arrived. Other ambulances had to be called in as reinforcements.
In total, five people suffered stabbing injuries, including the attacker, and were all transported to the Son Espases hospital. None of the wounded are in serious condition.

A COMMON OCCURRENCE
None of the people involved have by publicly identified but the man believed to be the attacker will be arrested and questioned as soon as he gets discharged from the hospital.
The area is a big concern for the authorities and is considered a paradise for the "sub-Saharan mafias," who, in a single night, can commit around 100 robberies.
Most of the victims are tourists under the effects of alcohol or drugs and the crimes are usually committed late at night or in the early hours of the morning.
KILLED WHILE ON VACATION
In late 2018, a 27-year-old man named Taylor Meyer, from Southern California, was killed during an alleged robbery in Playa Del Carmen, in Mexico.
Meyer was on a vacation with some friends when the incident took place. His body was found at the Lazaro Cardenas Park two days after the start of the trip.
According to the State Department, visitors are urged to "exercise increased caution" as the area is classified as a "level 2."
