Country music star Carrie Underwood revealed her differences in attitude to her two boys Isaiah and Jacob in a recent interview.

Underwood, 36, and her husband Mike Fisher, 39, welcomed their second son, Jacob, on January 21. They have a four-year-old son named Isaiah.

"I’m going to be honest, ‘bouncing back’ after having Jacob has been much more difficult than after I had Isaiah and I’ve been pretty hard on myself lately."

The award-winning singer, who was named in People magazine's list of 100 Reasons to Love America, said her sons "don't really look a whole lot alike," yet she confessed to being somewhat different this time around herself.

“It might be because Isaiah makes him feel so much smaller, but I think I baby Jacob more. I’m like, ‘Oh no he can’t sit up in that thing,’ and it’s stuff that we had Isaiah doing already,” Underwood told PEOPLE.

The "Inside Your Heaven" singer added that she had a feeling that she needs to treat her 4-month-old baby a little more like she did Isaiah.

Fisher, Isaiah, and Jacob have joined her out on the road for her hit Cry Pretty 360 arena tour.

According to Underwood, at every venue, they have a place where Isaiah "can go and color or there are toys in there or he can read and paint, whatever he’s feeling."

"He’s a pretty creative kid so we try to give him space to do that,” she added.

Underwood also said that they've gotten out of hotel rooms on the grounds that, for Isaiah, it’s difficult for a 4-year-old who’s persistently "looking to be stimulated."

Earlier this year, the "Cry Pretty" singer opened up about the pressure to “bounce back” after giving birth to Jacob. She wrote on Instagram at the time:

"I’m going to be honest, ‘bouncing back’ after having Jacob has been much more difficult than after I had Isaiah and I’ve been pretty hard on myself lately."

Underwood met her husband Fisher, a Canadian hockey star, in 2008 when he attended one of her shows.

On their first date, she immediately sensed that Fisher was totally not the same as every one of the men she dated previously.

They tied the knot in 2010 in Georgia, surrounded by pink flowers and 5,000 sparkling crystals.
