Cleveland Teen Pleads Not Guilty in Stabbing Death of Serial Killer's Mom
An 18-year-old man in Cleveland pleaded not guilty to stabbing his cousin, siblings and his 62-year-old grandmother on Saturday. The woman was the mother of a serial killer.
Diane Madison was the only fatality in the horrific events that took place in the early hours of Saturday on Chicksaw Avenue. Jaylen Plummer also injured his female cousin, 10, his sister, also 10, and his brother, 12.
According to CBS Pittsburgh, Plummer entered the children's rooms and stabbed them while they were asleep. Luckily the two girls made their escape and alerted a neighbor who called the police.
Police found the young boy hiding and the kids were transported to Rainbow Babies and Children hospital to receive treatment. They arrested Plummer who was taking a shower when they arrived.
Unfortunately, Diane did not survive her wounds. Local outlets report that she was the mother of Michael Madison. In 2016, Michael was found guilty of killing three women and disposing of their bodies in garbage bags.
Authorities took Plummer to the hospital to attend to cuts he had on his hands. He was then taken into custody. For his first appearance, he pleaded not guilty to all the charges and the court set his bail at $2 million.
Another teen who pleaded not guilty to a murder was Aaron Trejo. He allegedly killed 17-year-old Breana Rouhselang in December 2018 and hid her body in a dumpster.
Trejo, an Indiana resident, was a football player at his high school. He and Rouhselang had been involved and the latter was pregnant at the time of her death.
While Trejo did confess to the killing by telling the police, "I took action, I took her life," he later pleaded not guilty in court. Authorities determined that he was contemplating killing Rouhselang for a week prior to allegedly doing so.
He supposedly killed Rouhselang because she was already six months along and it was too late for an abortion by the time Trejo found out about the pregnancy.
When the two met up behind a pizza restaurant, Trejo stabbed the teen to death before choking her using her own scarf. Trejo is to be tried as an adult, but the death penalty is inapplicable due to his age.
