Beth Chapman's Daughter Remembers Mom in Touching Photo Tribute
The 20-year-old Bonnie Chapman shared a moving tribute on social media shortly after her mother, Beth Chapman, passed away at the age of 51.
Earlier today, Bonnie shared a photo that showed her holding her mother's hand. Following her mother's death, she updated the caption to include:
"So thankful to call you my mother. Rest In Peace, mom. I love you so much."
The Instagram post included several photos of Beth, from enjoying a moment with her grandchildren to spending time with her husband, Duane "Dog" Chapman.
On Twitter, Bonnie shared her father's post, simply writing: "Love you forever mom, You've got a halo now."
Bonnie said her mother was "such a strong woman," and added that Beth taught her to be strong too. "You were strong for everyone, and you taught me it's okay to let go," she added.
In other tweets, Bonnie said that she was thankful to have inherited her mother's beautiful smile. She also posted:
"I’d never thought I’d lose my mom at 20. I told her I thought she had a couple years left, but in her eyes she disagreed."
Bonnie stood her ground and defended her mother when the trolls came out of the woodwork, saying they should be ashamed of themselves. She added:
"My mother was a person and doesn’t deserve to be degraded because of ANY of her or my father’s past. My mother fought for women’s rights and was the kindest woman."
Beth passed away on Wednesday after being hospitalized over the weekend and placed in a medically induced coma when she struggled to breathe.
The "Dog The Bounty Hunter" star was diagnosed with Stage II throat cancer back in 2017, but underwent chemotherapy and had the tumor removed.
The cancer returned in November 2018. This time around, Beth said she was relying on her faith to get her through the ordeal, instead of turning to chemotherapy.
