Fantasia's Husband Hires Private Chef to Cook Surprise Dinner on 35th Birthday

Fantasia Barrino’s 36th birthday wasn’t just happy, it was romantic. Her husband, Kendall Taylor surprised her with a romantic dinner and made sure she was treated “like a Queen.”

Fantasia Barrino was pleasantly surprised when Kendall Taylor arranged for a special meal on her birthday. The singer admitted she’s never been able to go to a fine dining restaurant in her 22 years of celebrating on the set, so her husband’s gesture of bringing to her a lavish meal caught her off guard.

"A DINNER FIT FOR A QUEEN"

Fantasia revealed in her post featuring photos of the romantic surprise that Kendall hired private chef Ceejai whom she thanked for the spectacular meal of lobster and prawns served to her on a table scattered with rose petals. “IT WAS SO GOOD!!” she wrote before thanking her husband “for always making me feel like a Queen.”

Fantasia’s emotional reaction to Kendall’s surprise was captured on a clip she shared where she wipes away tears threatening to fall. She was casually dressed in a white tank top and shorts. She circled the table admiring the food and the cake that was at the center with one red rose beside it.

A man laughs from behind the camera and says. “All for you" as Kendall approaches her and offers her wine.

The couple remarried in 2015, ending a series of lows in the singer’s personal life including a messy relationship with a married man.

Fantasia’s life is so much better now that Kendall is in the picture. Speaking to CNN before the recent finale of “American Idol,” she credited her sense of peace to her faith and the people around her and that includes Kendall.

"I read a lot now. I used to hate to read, hated it, and now I can't stop reading, And you know, who inspired me with that? My husband."

The couple remarried in 2015, ending a series of lows in the singer’s personal life including a messy relationship with a married man. At one point, she lost her home due to financial problems. She hit rock bottom in 2010 driving her to overdose on over-the-counter pills.

After Kendall entered her life, Fantasia realized what true love really was. She also credits him for igniting in her a passion for reading books.

"I read a lot now. I used to hate to read, hated it, and now I can't stop reading, And you know, who inspired me with that? My husband. He reads all day long."

But Kendall isn’t the only man Fantasia thanks for helping her turn her life around. She also credits her friend Tyler Perry who checked on her when she needed a friend. Speaking to Tammi Mac on Radio Free KJLH, Fantasia glorified the man by thanking him and letting the world know what a true friend he was.

“He was one of the ones, when I lost everything, he came and blessed me,” she said.

Fantasia is truly blessed to have such wonderful men in her life today. We suspect this is one of her happiest birthdays.
