Kim Kardashian Reveals Her Struggles with the Corset She Wore to the Met Gala

Kim Kardashian has finally addressed rumors surrounding her outstanding appearance at the 2019 Met Gala.

The famous reality star stunned fellow attendees as well as her TV audience when she flaunted her hourglass figure in a Thierry Mugler dress.

The high-end outfit made for an indeed spectacular display with its “dripping wet” look. It looked befitting of a stunning diva and thankfully, it was worn by one.

The mother of four dripped of perfection and that, she owed to her tiny waistline. Aware of how incredible she looked, the entrepreneur looked poised and even posed smiling for pictures. Nobody, not even the nitpicky Kardashian fans, could tell that she had been in pain all through.

Instead, rumors that the reality star had “removed a rib” so she could fit into the form-fitting outfit became rampant.

"WSJ Magazine" recently interviewed the makeup mogul, and it was there, she made an official response explaining that they were just outrageous claims and that she wasn’t even sure such a surgical procedure existed.

She further detailed how she had to endure pain all through the special occasion. The pain was brought on by a unique corset Kim had to wear to bring her figure to perfection in the wet-looking dress that had crystals attached to it all over.

According to her, the corset was so tight that it left marks all over her bare back. The underwear was, however, not an item she could have ditched because of the transparency of the Mugler dress.

To pull off the look effortlessly, Kim reportedly needed three assistants to help strap her into the corset and afterward, the dress. That was during the dress fitting, which held two days before the day of the Met Gala.

Back then, Kim, who is married to rapper Kanye West, had jokingly told fans that she would probably not be able to sit to dine with other attendees of the event.

KIM EVEN GOT BREATHING LESSONS FOR WHEN SHE WORE THE DRESS

Kim also revealed that wearing the corset required individual breathing lessons from its creator, Mister Pearl. The reality star had excitedly taken to Instagram to share the nearly unbelievable fact with her massive fan following.

That was, however, not enough reason for the fashionista to ditch the ensemble for another that would be more comfortable. Instead, Kim hinted at collaborating with Mister Pearl again.

Like she had foreseen, her ensemble was outstanding and still managed to stand out amongst the many other spectacular outfits that graced the red carpet.
