Mandy Moore Shares First Photo from Upcoming Season of 'This Is Us'

Mandy Moore gave her fans a glimpse of the filming for “This Is Us” season four after posting a photo with her co-star, Milo Ventimiglia on her Instagram account.

Make way for a new season of with the Pearson family spearheaded by Mandy Moore and her husband, Milo Ventimiglia. Moore recently hyped up the fourth season of “This Is Us” with a behind the scenes look of the show’s filming.

“Mom and Dad are back shooting the very first scene of season 4. Can’t wait for you to see!” Moore teased her fans on Instagram.

The post was accompanied with a photo of Moore and Ventimiglia smiling side by side, while wearing what seems to be date clothes, probably during a shoot for a flashback scene together, which often happens.

Fans were quick to share how they excited they were for the new season on the comment section. The NBC drama became an instant hit after its first release and was even renewed for another three seasons in May. Moore happily announced the show’s renewal then:

“We are all BEYOND excited to share the good news that we have been renewed for 3 MORE SEASONS! Obviously that means we have a lot more laughing, crying, healing, growing and more to do together,” she wrote.

“This Is Us” creator, Dan Fogelman, also teased the show’s fans with a glimpse of the first day of filming, which he shared on Twitter with the words:

“Day 1, Season 4, Episode 55. Update: These two are still REALLY good at their jobs.”

Season four is set to premiere on September 24 at 9 p.m. ET., taking the same schedule as before and will take off from season three’s finale, which ended with Rebecca Pearson (Moore) in a hospital bed, surrounded by family.

In an interview, Moore expressed her happiness over Rebecca’s story finally being told and the questions “surrounding what may or may not ail” her being answered. She also confirmed that the show is in the “final throws of her life.”

During the family scene, fans noticed that Rebecca’s second husband was not present in the gathering. Moore also addressed that by ensuring that the show will dwell on such details in the upcoming seasons.
