Meghan Markle Receives Cute Gift for Baby Archie at 'The Lion King' Premiere in London

While attending the "Lion King" European premiere, new parent Meghan Markle got the best present for her son Archie Harrison.

Recently, Meghan and Prince Harry were guests of honor at the star-studded "Lion King" premiere at the Odeon Theatre.

"The Duke and Duchess are committed to advancing conservation efforts across Africa and around the world..."

As the royal couple mingled with other guests, the Duchess was given a bouquet, a book and an adorable Simba toy for baby Archie by Evie Chambers and Valentina Walker, both 12. The two young girls' parents are associated with Disney.

Evie and Valentina said that meeting Meghan and Harry was "amazing" and revealed that the former "Suits" star had asked who their preferred characters in the film were.

"We said Simba and Nala," Evie said. "I told her this is for you, and she seemed really delighted."

The European premiere of "Lion King" was held in support of Harry's conservation and communities work through The Royal Foundation.

Disney will donate to the Wildlife Conservation Network in help of the Lion Recovery Fund and its local partners for each one that is sold.

The Walt Disney Company likewise announced the launch of a worldwide discussion campaign called Protect the Pride, which aim to bring issues to light for the diminishing population of lions across Africa.

Buckingham Palace announced on Instagram:

"As a part of their commitment to this cause, Disney also made a donation to The Duke of Sussex’s upcoming environment & community initiative which will be formally announced this autumn.

"The Duke and Duchess are committed to advancing conservation efforts across Africa and around the world, and working with communities to ensure a sustainable future for the planet."

Another stand-out moment from the "Lion King" European premiere came when Meghan and Harry were introduced to singer Beyoncé and her husband, Jay-Z.

Meghan and Beyoncé greeted each another with a warm embrace. The "Naughty Girl" singer also offered her congrats to Meghan and Harry on the arrival of their first child.
