Wendy Williams Offers Dating Advice to Phaedra Parks after New Romance Reveal

Wendy Williams offers sound advice to Phaedra Parks who recently revealed she's dating a much younger man. The talk show host cautioned Phaedra about the repercussions of her relationship.

Wendy Williams is aware that Phaedra Parks is now dating a younger man so she simply reminded her that "We’re not changing Pampers anymore.”

PHAEDRA AND WENDY HAVE SOMETHING IN COMMON

As a result of her separation from Kevin Hunter who had a child with another woman, Wendy has been enjoying her single life. And it just so happened that one of the men she was rumored to be dating was allegedly a lot younger than her.

While Wendy has been mum about the rumored man and instead recently revealed she was crazy about a 50-something doctor, Phaedra has shouted it out to the world that she’s happily dating a younger actor. In a sit down with Daily Mail TV recently, the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star and ex-wife of incarcerated Apollo Nida revealed she’s dating Medina Islam of “The Haves and Have Nots.”

“I found a guy that’s suitable for me,” Phaedra admits after abstaining from dating for four years.

PHAEDRA ON DATING A "SUITABLE" MAN

Phaedra had nothing but nice words to say about her boyfriend who’s ten years younger than her and who she describes as “tall, dark, and handsome,” and responsible for her “glow.”

“I found a guy that’s suitable for me,” Phaedra admits after abstaining from dating for four years. Her divorce with Apollo was finalized in 2017 after separating in 2014, around the time he was convicted for identity theft and fraud.

When news of Phaedra’s newfound love reached Wendy, of course, the outspoken host gave her two-cents-worth about it on her program that always delivers her unfiltered opinions about the latest hot topics. Wendy warned Phaedra to be cautious about dating a younger man.

“He’s 35, he has no children…Oh, he’s on the Tyler Perry show…” the 54-year-old says of what she knows about the man. “He’s an actor who looks like Babyface…so he’s got his own money and he has no kids, though, so Phaedra you be careful, because I don’t know if you’re going there again…” she warns. “You know you already got your children with Apollo and you got your body back and stuff and we’re not changing Pampers anymore.”

A MAN SHE CAN INTRODUCE TO HER MOTHER

It’s clear Wendy is just looking out for the 45-year-old lawyer reminding her of what a relationship with a childless young man would entail for her. As for Phaedra, she’s over the moon with excitement over her four-month relationship and the fact that Medina is someone she can bring home to her mother.

"He is definitely the type of guy I want to take home to my mother though," she shares. “He's the type of guy you could really be proud of. He is healthy, he's an exercise guru and his body is to die for. He doesn't drink, he doesn't do drugs. He's very spiritual and you know, I love the Lord, but you know, he's Muslim.”

A WELCOME RESPITE FROM HER PROBLEMATIC PAST AND PRESENT

Photos of the two out on a date clearly show how smitten they are with each other. This is a welcome change for Phaedra who’s had to deal with a lot of pain during her marriage to Apollo. She also revealed in the same interview that she decided to end things after learning he’d lied to her about his shady financial dealings even after she supported him.

Now Phaedra is just looking out for their two boys who’ve had to face another round of disappointment after their father, who was recently granted an early release from prison was tossed back nine days later for breaking a parole restriction. Phaedra revealed her boys prepared something special for Apollo for Father’s Day but he didn’t make it that far. He was sent back to prison just two days before the occasion.

With all that happening in her life, it’s good that Phaedra has someone who’s making her happy and we’re all for that. It wouldn’t be a bad thing too if she takes into consideration Wendy’s advice. After all, she's simply looking out for her best interest.
