Jennifer Lopez Strolls around New York in a Camouflage Sweatsuit and Flip-Flops during a Heatwave
Jennifer Lopez defied the sweltering heat while strolling around New York City in a camouflage sweatsuit, and she looked stunning.
Jennifer Lopez is one of those people who look good in whatever they wear, and last Friday, she showed that not even the sweltering heat could stop her.
The singer stepped out in New Jersey dressed in camouflage sweatsuit designed by Guess, and her go-to footwear for the summer — flip flop.
The sweatsuit had a hoodie which Lopez placed over her head, and even at 90°, the “Di Nero” singer was unaffected by the heat; New York had declared a state of emergency because of the hot summer weather.
The “Medicine” songstress also had on sunglasses, and she only had her phone in her hand as she went about her stroll. Lopez, who is the middle of her “It's My Party” tour ahead of her 50th birthday, was in New Jerseyfor her performance at Newark Prudential Center.
The “Enough” star also had another scheduled the next day at Philadelphia, and despite the weather predictions going over 90°, the mum-of-two stepped out in another sweatsuit.
This time, she chose to go all-white; the “I'm Into You” singer went with a Givenchy sweatsuit with a slightly cropped top. Lopez matched the outfit with oversized aviator sunglasses, and since her outfit had no hoodie, she held her hair back and had on the same flip flop from the previous day.
The “Second Act” star’s flip flop is from the Brazilian designer, Havaiana, and it has a glittery gold top. The footwear is the only weather-friendly fashion piece the “Jenny from the Block” singer has worn since she started stepping out in sweatsuits, and it has become her go-to footwear in between concerts.
It sells at Zappos for $34, and also comes in different colours — black, pale pink, and silver. Lopez has shown that in the season when most people go for shorts and swimsuits, she can wear a sweatsuit and still stun in it. This cements her place as one of the fashion icons of the 21st century.
The CFDA shares this sentiment, and in June, it awarded the singer with its prestigious Fashion Icon award. This “Limitless” singer has also collaborated with fashion outfits like Quay and Giuseppe Zanotti, and she continues to make her mark while wowing fashion lovers around the world with her bold choices.
