Bindi Irwin Posts Birthday Tribute to Her Mom Terri (Photo)

Bindi Irwin, the daughter of the legendary Steve Irwin, has recently taken to her official Instagram account to pay tribute to Terri, her beautiful mother.

Bindi wished Terri a happy birthday on July 20 and took the opportunity to thank her for everything she has done for her over the years.

According to the 20-year-old, Terri is extraordinary and the most incredible woman in the world and Bindi's love for her is beyond description.

A TRIBUTE TO THE LADY WHO RAISED HER

Bindi, who is currently dating a man named Chandler Powell, and whom she met back in 2013, wrote:

"Happy Birthday to the most incredible woman in the world. Mum, I love you beyond description. Thank you for every hug, pearl of wisdom, smile and for sharing your strength - encouraging me to follow my greatest dreams. You’re extraordinary."

TERRI AND STEVE'S MARRIAGE

Terri turned 55 and has been by a rock to her children's since forever always supporting them in their adventures and being there for better or for worse.

The Oregon native rose to fame after tying the knot with Steve in 1992, a year after meeting him in Australia. They had a very happy marriage and their bond was one of a kind.

HOW SHE HANDLED HER HUSBAND'S DEATH

During an appearance on ABC's "Anh's Brush with Fame," Terri recalled how she learned of her husband's death in 2006 and how hard it was for her to tell her children.

She said:

"I just remember this incredible sense of responsibility, this feeling of overwhelming grief but 'what do I do next?' I kind of collected my thoughts and then had to go out to the car and tell Bindi and Robert ... which was really hard."

THE LAST TIME SHE SAW HIM

At the time, she had flown to Tasmania with Bindi and Robert, their youngest son, leaving Steve behind to work on a documentary. He died during the flight and her last memory was seeing him waving them goodbye.

Steve's death had a huge impact on his family and the world, who loved him for his kind nature and passion for animals, and Terri remembered that even fame couldn't change the man she met when she was 27 years old.
