Naomi Campbell shares a video of herself going grocery shopping after making comments about not eating for days.
Describing grocery shopping as "therapeutic," supermodel Naomi Campbell shared a video of herself choosing goods at a Whole Foods grocery store. According to Campbell, she doesn't trust online ordering of groceries and she needs to do it herself.
“I need to do my own groceries. I can’t order them online. I need to choose my own fruit in case they come bruised. I need to see it for my own eyes.”
As for what type of food she buys, she says it's been difficult for her to enjoy eating because of her evolving diet. Back in January, she found out she wasn't supposed to eat gluten, wheat, nor dairy.
“I’m like, ‘What the [expletive] am I going to eat?’ All my comfort food just went down the drain and I’m sad, ’cause that’s the kind of things I like to munch on at night when I get back from work or an event and I want to watch crappy TV, like everybody else in the world. Love a little munchy on something, carbohydrates for sure.”
Now, her shopping list consists of fruits, candy, and sweets. However, she vowed to lean more towards fruits than candy since candy was her go-to when she stopped smoking.
A couple of weeks ago, Naomi revealed that she doesn't eat every day if she doesn't feel like it. On the British talk show "Lorraine," she opened up about her unusual eating habits.
What she made sure to clarify, though, was that she doesn't starve herself.
"I don't starve myself. If I want to do a day of just not eating, I do it and just do water or juice. Depends on how I feel."
To her, she doesn't count the days she doesn't eat. Instead, she takes it one day at a time and chooses what she feels like consuming rather than forcing herself to eat food.
