TAMRON SHARES A RARE MOMENT WITH AN ICON AND HER SON

Not many children in the new generation even know who the legendary singer is and Tamron’s son edges them out by enjoying a one-on-one with the 92-year-old.

"When you have this kinda of love life is so much better. #mosesandmama. Moses and Mr. B."

Known as the “King of Calypso,” Mr. Belafonte is the man behind the famous “Banana Boat (Day-O)” song and who also actively took part in the Civil Rights Movement as a close friend of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Tamron delighted in her son meeting the iconic singer who still looks handsome in his 90s. The photo of the encounter shared on her social media showed Harry holding baby Moses in his arms as the former “Today” host leaned down behind them and beamed.

HER HILARIOUS MOMENTS JUGGLING MOTHERHOOD AND HER CAREER

No doubt the photo will make it to Tamron’s collection of Moses’ most precious keepsakes since it is quite rare. This will also be ingrained in the new mom’s mind as another memory to add to the many highlights and sometimes reckless moments with her child.

Tamron acknowledges, “It’s not perfect. Nothing will be.” But she wouldn’t trade if for anything.

Tamron recently shared that in trying to juggle her two worlds – as a mother and career woman, she’s had to deal with quite a messy situation while onboard a flight. Speaking to People during the 2019 Essence Festival, the 48-year-old recounted how her son had to travel in his diapers and a blanket because he spit-up at the beginning of the flight.

Tamron acknowledges, “It’s not perfect. Nothing will be.” But she wouldn’t trade if for anything. Luckily, she gets help from her mother, who sometimes accompanies her on trips to babysit Moses. Tamron shares it was a riot when her mother, who joined her from Texas in New Orleans suggested she bring Moses to the casino while Tamron was working. “I’m like, ‘Mom! He can’t go to the casino!’” Tamron recalls with a laugh.

Nevertheless, Tamron shares that with her child being both “hilarious and so chill” she would often find herself grappling for more time with him. “It’s hard to leave [him],” she admits when she has to attend to her work.
