Tyler Perry's Longtime Girlfriend Shows off Her Curves in Vacation Photos

Tyler Perry’s girlfriend, Gelila Bekele, looks stunning in new pics shared to her Instagram from her summer vacation. The documentary filmmaker and activist tries to keep a low profile, but she’s been working hard to help the community of her native Ethiopia for years.

Gelila Bekele enjoyed a few days bathing under the sun at the beach and walking around cobblestones streets for her summer vacation. And although she didn’t reveal the city that had the pleasure of welcoming her, Bekele did share some pics from her summer trip on Instagram.

A SUNKISSED BEAUTY

In one of the pics, the 32-year-old proud Ethiopian showed her toned and petite figure posing in a two-piece red bikini with the ocean and a stunning sunset in the background. “Summer 19,” she captioned the photo.

She also shared more shots on her stories, including one that depicts her walking in between green bushes in a purple and yellow swimsuit,

one where she’s donning a colorful flower dress and a hat while enjoying the wind with open arms,

and one where she’s posing in the middle of an alley.

HER HUMANITARIAN WORK

Gelila’s vacations comes only a few weeks after she attended the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, where she not only stole the spotlight with her glamorous outfits but also had the opportunity to introduce her 2015 documentary “Mai: Life is not Honey,” which follows a day in a life of young girls in a rural village of Ethiopia.

The documentary, alongside with the 2016 photography book “Guzo,” gives people an insight scope on the lives on different tribes in Ethiopia, “from their customs, culture, traditions and religious practices – to their dwellings, agricultural work and the startling landscape upon which they roam.”

Bekele, unlike her partner Tyler Perry, keeps a low profile in Hollywood.

She mostly shows up in fashion and charity events, and she’s appreciated for her humanitarian work with organizations like Charity Water, which provides clean water to underprivileged communities in Ethiopia and other parts of Africa.

A SPECIAL PARTNERSHIP

Gelila and Tyler met in 2007 at a Prince concert, and according to the “Madea” creator, he was instantly drawn to the model.

They’ve been dating for more than a decade and welcomed son Aman in 2014. However, they keep the boy out of the spotlight, and the public has yet to catch a glimpse of the now 4-year-old.

The proud parents rarely discuss their relationship or their life as parents, but in one particular occasion, Perry opened up to the ladies of “The Real” to confess how much Aman has changed his life.

“All the clichés are real. He really has changed my life,” he said.

And added:

“He’s so beautiful and strong and amazing. And he’s a healer for me because I look at him and see myself as a little boy. And I’m able to give him all the love and all the things that I never had.”

As for the status of Tyler and Gelila’s relationship, there were rumors in 2017 about them being married. However, they have yet to confirm or deny the speculations.
