Will Estes of ‘Blue Bloods’ Jokes That the Wedding You Don’t See Is the ‘Most Beautiful’
Will Estes talked about the short wedding scene from the "Blue Bloods" season finale.
Jamie (Will Estes) and Eddie (Vanessa Ray) tied the knot in the season 9 finale of the hit CBS police drama, "Blue Bloods." But very little of the Jamko wedding was shown.
"You know how Hitchcock taught us that the monster you don't see is the scariest? Maybe the wedding you don't see is the most beautiful?"
The finale concluded with Frank walking Eddie down the aisle, and it has fans talking.
In a recent interview with TV Line, Estes, 40, said: "I mean, I was there all day [filming], so.. I count it as a wedding!”
At the point when inquired as to why the ceremony wasn't shown, the actor pointed out that fans got to see the vows at another point during the episode.
"We already did the vows at the dinner table... But I'm grasping at straws. I got nothing." he said. "You know how Hitchcock taught us that the monster you don't see is the scariest? Maybe the wedding you don't see is the most beautiful?"
Estes, who previously starred as J.J. Pryor on the NBC drama "American Dreams," kept discussing what they did and didn't film. “We filmed her walking a little bit more, but there was no other dialogue," he said.
When asked if season 10 will show more, he said that the sky is the limit, adding: “I haven’t foreseen or heard that, but if you write the right letter to the right CBS executive… it could probably move mountains!”
Estes has been in and out of the spotlight for quite a bit of his life. However, over the last several years, he has been back in without pause as he kept on building his reputation. He even accumulated more notable roles on his resume as time has gone on.
Meanwhile, Tom Selleck, who has starred as NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan on "Blue Bloods," recently disclosed to Deadline that the series didn't show the wedding since they would not like to resort to a dramatic twist to make the ceremony worth appearing.
