The 2018 Emmy Award Winner, Loni Love is excited about her new boyfriend, James Welsh whom she met on a dating site last year.
Since they started dating, the co-host of the talk show, "The Real" has flooded her timeline with pictures of them together. Underneath all the cuteness and loved up posses, the apparent racial diversity between them could not go unnoticed.
The comedienne admitted that her actor boyfriend is the first white man she has ever dated after dating only "Black or Hispanic" men in the past and the change was worth it.
All she needed in her man was for them to be compatible, and James fit that perfectly.
LONI'S BOYFRIEND
The first-ever Essence Female host told People that she was not alone in the new dating pattern experience. The actor is also new to dating African-American women, thereby making her his first black girlfriend.

WELSH'S PROFESSION

In addition, he is a known businessman, who owns his own paint company in LA called Quality Painting Plus.
WELSH'S KIDS
The actor is a father to two grown-up sons, both in their thirties. Although there are no details of his former relationship, his children notably have the same mother, who was connected with the actor in the past.
WHY LONI WENT FOR A WHITE GUY
Good morning text messages did the trick for the couple! The comedienne admitted while explaining that falling in love with a white guy was not her intention, but was something that just happened to her.
She also revealed that part of the things she loved about him was his habit of dropping her texts at 4 am every morning before she got out of bed. The star thought the gesture was sweet and compared it with a past relationship that was not that rosy.
Loni Love has experienced her deal of not-too-rosy relationships in the past, from a marriage that ended roughly because of her career pursuits to relationships that involved domestic violence, or those that were short-lived.
Her last relationship was with a 23-year-old guy, but it ended shortly after she announced it on "Ellen." With her newfound love though, she is hopeful that it would turn out differently this time.
