Diddy's Son Christian Combs Paid Tribute to Late Mom Kim Porter with a Pendant

Christian Combs rarely opens up about his mom's death, but recently, he decided to share a bit about how he's been coping.

Alongside releasing a new single entitled "HYWI," the 21-year-old showed off the pendant that he has which honors his mom, the late Kim Porter.

Sean "Diddy" Combs proudly shared a photo of his son wearing the piece of jewelry, making sure everyone knew the story behind it. It turns out, the pendant featured a picture of Kim Porter and Diddy together.

Big Brother Duties

It turns out, Christian has been helping his dad cope with all the differences of not having Kim around. Although they were already separated, the kids used to spend the majority of their time with Kim.

Now that it's just Diddy and their children, Christian has been stepping in when Diddy would get busy.

The up-and-coming musician often picks up his younger sisters, D'Lila and Jessie from school when Diddy's out on business trips.

An Open Message to Kim

Back in November, when Kim passed away, Christian was one of those who decided to stay off of social media to mourn the loss of his mom.

It was only ten days after her death that he returned, with a short but heartbreaking message dedicated to Kim.

“I miss you Mommy.”

That was all he had to say, hoping that one way or another, that message reached his mom.

Mourning Kim's Death

He and the rest of his family members stuck together through the terrible time, with Diddy leading the way. Although the two separated long before her death, they remained on good terms as they co-parented their children.

Kim Porter passed away on November 15, 2018, in her home in Toluca Lake, California, due to lobar pneumonia which was left untreated.

She left behind three children with Diddy, Christian Casey, Jessie James, D'Lila Star, and another son from a previous relationship, Quincy.
