Daily Mail: Wendy Williams Allegedly Rehires Kevin Hunter as Business Manager

Wendy Williams and Kevin Hunter have reportedly been discussing his possible return to her fold as the television host realized their business partnership is still valuable to her.

It appears Wendy Williams hasn’t turned her back on her estranged husband, Kevin Hunter completely.

The talk show host is reportedly in talks with her philandering husband regarding the possibility of renewing their business partnership.

SEVERING TIES AFTER DIVORCE

When Wendy filed for divorce from Kevin in April, she cut ties with him professionally too. Kevin was her business manager and partner in their production company that runs The Wendy Williams Show.

He also co-founded their charitable foundation. In the heels of their divorce filing, Wendy relieved Kevin of his obligations with her and her show and she also dissolved their foundation.

“She realizes that when it comes to business they had a great partnership, there was definitely magic there.”

RENEWING TIES FOR THE SAKE OF BUSINESS

Now it appears the talk show host is reconsidering her decision after having a heart-to-heart sit down with Kevin. According to Daily Mail, a series of meetings between them led to an agreement not to dissolve their joint ventures and that includes WW Talk Productions, Hunter Publishing Group, and The Hunter Foundation.

The former spouses have reportedly drafted a joint statement announcing this decision. According to the statement, their reason is to protect the “legacy” they’ve built through these ventures.

Kevin is reportedly willing to work with Wendy again but still wants to iron out the details of his return including how this will affect the terms of their divorce.

On her part, Wendy came to the conclusion that her partnership with Kevin is good for her business.

“She realizes that when it comes to business they had a great partnership, there was definitely magic there,” according to Daily Mail’s source.

“Since he [Kevin] left the business here's been a lot of infighting and back-biting behind the scenes, that's the kind of stuff Kevin kept a handle on.”

PROTECTING HIS INTERESTS

Meanwhile, Kevin is reportedly willing to work with Wendy again but still wants to iron out the details of his return including how this will affect the terms of their divorce.

“He wants to make sure anything he decides to do is in his best interests, [and] that’s what’s being sorted now,” the source added.

Wendy has been recently experiencing scheduling problems with her “For the Record…Umm Hmm!” tour which was pushed back to the fall due to unknown reasons. This may have prompted the host to rethink her stance on Kevin and consider having him back on her team.
