Tina Lawson Gushes over Granddaughter Blue Ivy & Says She's Quite a Makeup Artist

Tina Lawson just confirmed that her granddaughter Blue Ivy is multi-talented, by saying she is "quite the make-up artist" during a recent interview she had at BeautyconLA.

At 7-years-old, Blue Ivy Carter has already accomplished so much. She's appeared in music videos, sang on a Billboard Hot 100 song, and now, Tina Lawson shares that she has a knack for makeup, too.

On Buying Blue Ivy Makeup

The proud grandma gushed about Blue's skills, even though she revealed that her dad isn't very keen on giving his daughter so much makeup at such a young age.

“I’ve bought Blue so many makeup kits, much to her dad’s dismay. Dads don’t like that. But it’s just for playtime. We have fun. And she’s quite a makeup artist. She’s amazing,” she shared.

Blue's Makeup Specialty

As for what it is that Blue can do the best, Tina shares that it's her eyes. The little girl is able to do a perfect cat eye and puts stones and fancy accessories on her eyes.

“Oh my god, she puts stones and all this fancy stuff. She can do a perfect cat eye. She would love it here.”

An Iconic Duo

Tina and Blue are the perfect partners-in-crime, as they spend a whole lot of time together. When she's not bonding with her over music or makeup, the two are traveling in different places where her parents are performing.

During the time of The Carters' world tour, the grandma-and-granddaughter duo hit up Paris and had the best time together.

"We had the best time. We did something every day. We went to Disneyland in Paris, we went shopping every day at Galeries Lafayette. She loves that store," Tina gushed.

Lawson also made sure to take Blue to the Eiffel Tower every day, but not to the top. They would just see the iconic monument from different areas in Paris, as this was a special request by Blue Ivy herself.

The adorable duo clearly spends a lot of time together, and this has resulted in an everlasting bond between two family members.
