Fighting for the Truth

Despite all the evidence that's shown up against R. Kelly, his attorney says that there are a lot of these that are made up.

“He’s dealing with a lot of stories that have been made up. He’s not a fighter. I’ve seen him cry when he talks about the situation.”

However, despite all the challenges he faces in jail, Greenberg and Kelly are determined to fight for the truth and win their case.

A Privileged Request

In fact, in order to pass time, Kelly requested for a computer in his jail cell for him to continue composing music as he is losing a lot of money while he sits idly in jail.

According to Greenberg, his client is currently in solitary confinement at the Metropolitan Correctional Center and is looking for ways to be productive while waiting for his trial.

“He [Kelly] wants his computer so he can finish up the record album he has been working on. My client needs to make money and he has been precluded from doing so because of his legal situation," he disclosed.

Piles of Charges

Kelly was arrested because of a new 13-count indictment, which included 4 counts of producing child pornography, and 2 counts of receiving child pornography. The indictment came after his own staffers turned over tapes to the FBI that implicated him.

Regardless of the evidence shown and obtained, R. Kelly still pleaded "not guilty" to all of his current cases.
