Jenna Bush Hager Congratulates Daughter Poppy on Her 4th Birthday (Photos)

Jenna Bush Hager and her husband Henry Hager celebrate their daughter, Poppy’s fourth birthday.

Jenna Hager, is currently on maternity leave from "Today," after giving birth on August 2 to her third child, a son named Henry Harold “Hal” Hager. The Hager’s also have two daughters; Margaret "Mila" Laura Hager and Poppy Louise Hager.

With the arrival of her first son, the mother of three might not be getting much sleep. However, she is savoring ever moment of being a mother to all her children. A few days after giving birth to Hal she called in to “Today,” telling her co-hosts:

"This beautiful chaos is what life is all about."

Hager hasn’t let the new addition to the family slow down her motherly duties. Just a few days after welcoming Hal, the family celebrated their daughter, Poppy’s fourth birthday. With a series of photos staring a playful and adorable looking Poppy in some of her best moments, she captions:

“Happiest fourth birthday to our Poppy! She’s all personality and humor and light. Uniquely Pops—we can’t imagine life without her!!!”

The images of Poppy capture her zestful personality and some precious moments of her with her siblings and mother.

The four-year-old is the middle child in the Hager family. When Poppy was born, Hager shared with audiences that her daughter was named after her grandfather; former President of the United States, George H.W Bush Sr. During a taping of “Today,” she tells Willie Geist:

"Poppy, my wild 3-year-old, was named after her great-grandpa, my grandfather,"

She adds on that her father, former President of the United States, George W Bush was emotional when she shared the news that their daughter was named in honor of her grandfather.

Poppy’s name is no coincidence. All of the Hager children have their grandparent’s names passed on to them. The eldest daughter, Mila, is named Laura after Hager's mother, former First Lady of the United States, Laura Bush. Her son, Hal or Henry is named after Hager’s grandfather.

Hager’s co-host on “Today,” Savannah Guthrie also celebrated her daughter’s birthday on the same day. Guthrie’s daughter turned five-years-old. She shared pictures of a smiling Vale with a sweet message saying:

“From the moment you were born, Vale, you are the present I get to open every single day. Happy 5th birthday to this sparkly little soul who fills our hearts to the brim.”

Hager and Guthrie share a close relationship. When Hal was born, Guthrie was one of the first people to visit Hager in the hospital.

The co-hosts have passed on their close bond to their daughters. A year ago Poppy and Vale celebrated their birthdays together. Referring to them as best friends Hager writes;

“Birthday tradition with birthday besties. How wonderful life is with these two in the world! @savannahguthrie”
