Glammed up Nia Long Arrives at '47 Meters Down: Uncaged' Premiere with Mom and Her Sons

Nia Long has always been about her family, and it was no different on Thursday as she posed with her mother and sons at the “47 Meters Down: Uncaged” premiere red carpet.

Nia’s latest film “47 Meters Down: Uncaged,” premiered on August 13 in Los Angeles, California and her family tagged along for the event.

Donning an aqua blue mini dress with a neckline that plunged to her waist, the actress was flanked by mom Talita Long and sons Massai Zhivago Dorsey Jr. and Kez. An unidentified young lady, who is probably a relative, also posed with the family.

Talita and the lovely young lady were twinning in black dresses while Nia’s sons chose more casual outfits. Maasai, 18, chose a striped blue t-shirt, white pants, and sneakers, while seven-year-old Kez looked adorable in a light blue shirt and white shorts.

“It's a family affair,” Nia captioned a photo of them all, adding a couple of red heart emojis.

Fans and well-wishers, including celebrity friends like Vivica Fox, trooped to the comment section with kind words for Nia’s family.

“Beautiful family gurlfriend!!” Fox wrote. “Stay blessed n happy n fabulous queen!”

“You have an amazing looking family. And your beauty is on a totally different level,” chimed in another.

Nia was raised by her mother, Talita after the latter and the actress’s father, Doughtry “Doc” Long, got divorced. Talita was an art teacher while Doc is a respected poet and author. The “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” alum is quick to credit Talita for the strength and inspiration she employs in raising her sons till this day.

Nia welcomed her first son, Maasai in November 2000 with her partner at the time, actor Massai Dorsey. The proud mom had cause to celebrate a few months ago when Maasai decided he’d be attending Eastern Kentucky University.

The “Boyz n the Hood” actress shared the good news on Instagram, not forgetting to give a shout-out to her baby daddy.

“I’m so proud of my baby @massaidorsey OFFICIALLY COMMITTED TO EASTERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY!!!Blood, sweat and tears...it’s the only way. Let’s get it baby boy!!! Shot out to Massai Sr. for never missing a game and keeping our boy on course!!”

Moving on from her ex, Nia began dating Philadelphia 76ers assistant coach, Ime Udoka, in 2010. A year later, in November, they welcomed their son Kez.

Nia and Udoka got engaged in 2015, and even though they remain unmarried, the lovebirds are very present in each other’s lives. A look through Nia’s Instagram page shows that her fiancé is often there for family trips and special occasions.

In May, the proud mommy shared a photo of her and Udoka at their son’s school presentation. “This little superstar sang his heart out today,” Nia announced. “I’m so proud of my boys. Mommy and daddy love you so much, Kezzie!”
