AGT Favorite Kodi Lee Does It Again with Moving Performance of 'Bridge over Troubled Water'

Kodi Lee stunned judges and viewers alike in his most recent performance of "Bridge over Troubled Water" on "America's Got Talent," which left him with a standing ovation.

The young 22-year-old artist got everyone feeling emotional at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood when he performed "Bridge Over Troubled Water" by Simon & Garfunkel for the live quarterfinals of the show, as he absolutely nailed his performance.

The young pianist received a standing ovation from the judges and the crowd, as he and his mother were left trying to soak in the love that they were receiving.

Kind Words from the Judges

Gabrielle Union, the first to speak about the performance after giving him the golden buzzer, was left in tears thanking Kodi for sharing his talent to the world. According to Gabrielle, Kodi serves as an inspiration to many that no disability can ever stop someone from doing what he loves.

Likewise, Simon Cowell told the singer that he was one of the most extraordinary people they've ever seen in any of the shows he's produced and that he and the rest of the judges are where they are because of people like Kodi.

He adds that the fans of "America's Got Talent" have been incredible supporters of Kodi, who have been sharing his videos constantly online, which is precisely how he became a viral sensation.

Kodi's Rise to Fame

When asked what he had to say to all of his fans supporting him from around the world, Kodi said: "Thank you so much and I love you all!"

Last May, people all over the world were left emotional thanks to his audition on "America's Got Talent." Kodi, a blind autistic boy, stunned everyone over his ability to play the piano and sing powerful songs.

His mom shares that the best part of all this is the fact that people are accepting and loving her son.

“I’m beyond proud of him; this whole thing has been magical. Just to see the pay that people are accepting him and loving him, it’s magical."

His videos have gone viral on YouTube, where he's had over 40 million views. His most recent performance, which was uploaded three days ago, already has almost 4.5 million views.
