Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Considers Himself Fortunate for Finding Love Again after His Divorce from Danny Garcia
Dwayne Johnson, the legendary wrestler and actor got off the bachelors’ list for a second time, after tying the knot in Hawaii.
Dwayne Johnson, popularly known as “The Rock” found love again after his first divorce in 2007.
The legendary heavyweight champion revealed on Monday that he finally got wed to his girlfriend of twelve years, Lauren Hashian in a memorable Hawaiian ceremony.
HAPPILY MARRIED
Johnson shared pictures from the ceremony on social media. In the images, the actor could be seen sharing intimate moments with his new bride. One of the shots showed the newlyweds clad in their white wedding outfits with their arms thrown out in the air ecstatically.
The action movie star wore a garland around his neck, while his wife held a matching green and white bouquet. In other photos, the lovebirds could be seen sharing an intimate kiss. His caption on the post read:

TWELVE YEARS AND COUNTING
The duo met on set in 2006, during the filming of the movie, “The Game Plan,” but their love story did not kick off at once. The actor was then married to his ex-wife, Danny Garcia, the mother of his eighteen-year-old daughter, Simone.
However, the couple split barely a year later, and the icon fell back into the arms of Hashian in 2007. The two have kept their relationship going since then, with two beautiful daughters (Jasmine and Tiana) between them.
DWAYNE IS LUCKY TO FIND LOVE
In a 2012 interview with People, the wrestler-turned-actor explained that he was a lucky man to have found love twice despite his position.
“I was so fortunate to have fallen in love once. To fall in love again? That’s a hard thing to do twice in the position I’m in. I’m one lucky son of a bitch,” he said.
The “Jumanji” star and his love became inseparable after finding each other, and to create a balance, they began living together. He told Esquire in 2015 that they had been cohabiting for over eight years.
A LOVING RELATIONSHIP
Shortly after publicly declaring their love, the duo welcomed their first daughter Jasmine. In 2018, their second daughter, Tiana, now 16-months-old, was born.
When asked about how they sustained their relationship that long, even without being bound by marriage, the star explained that it was because they knew how to keep each other laughing, and co-existed without setting any limits or boundaries.
That approach has worked for the couple so far and has led them to the onset of a life of marital bliss.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
