Eric Trump and Wife Lara Welcome a Beautiful Baby Daughter, Carolina

On Monday night, President Donald Trump became a grandfather to another child. Eric Trump welcomed his second child with his wife as per their Instagram posts.

Eric Trump, 35, took to Instagram recently to reveal that his wife, Lara, 36, had given birth to their second child. He shared a picture of himself cradling his baby girl.

In the image, the newborn was seen swaddled in a blanket while wearing a pink hat. It was revealed that the child was a baby girl.

Eric captioned the adorable post: “@LaraLeaTrump and I are excited to welcome Carolina Dorothy Trump into the world. We love you already!” The Trumps are also parents to a son, Eric “Luke” Trump who was born in 2017.

On her own Instagram, Lara also shared the news of the birth of her baby girl writing: “Family of FOUR!” She included a family picture that also featured their oldest child.

Carolina will be President Donald Trump’s 10th grandchild. In April, Lara announced that she and her husband were expecting their second child with a post on social media.

She shared a collage of three images featuring her family of three with their two dogs. Eric’s wife wrote: “Baby number two coming this August!”

She also revealed that all “the boys are excited to become big brothers!” The president’s daughter-in-law is a former producer for CBS’s “Inside Edition.”

She now produces and hosts “Real News Update,” a weekly webcast supporting her father-in-law’s 2020 re-election campaign. Lara’s also the senior adviser for the president’s re-election bid.

She's appeared regularly at her father-in-law's rallies and spoken publicly about his administration’s policies. In January, she sparked controversy for making remarks about the federal workers who were stranded because of the historic government shutdown.

At the time she stated in a television interview: “It’s not fair to you and we all get that, but this is so much bigger than any one person.” However, she later argued that her words were misrepresented.

Last year, the president put the country in shutdown after refusing to sign-off on government spending until funds were allocated for a border wall.

Her husband is the president’s second son with his first wife, Ivana Trump. He is executive vice president of the Trump Organization alongside his older brother, Donald Trump Jr.

Lara and Eric got married in 2014 at the Trumps’ Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida after dating for six years.
