People React to Eric Trump's News about Expecting another Baby by Mocking Him: Country Is 'Full'
President Donald Trump is going to be a grandfather again! His son, Eric Trump, took to Twitter on Wednesday morning to announce that he and his wife were expecting.
A number of people reacted to the good news by congratulating the couple, however, a few of them thought it would be fun to mock the expecting parents.
Eric Trump, 35, announced he was expecting a second child by posting photos of himself and his wife, Lara Trump, 36, with their son, Eric Luke Trump, 1. In the caption of the post, the businessman also gave the month their baby was expected.
The president’s second-oldest son captioned his post:
“Lara and I are excited to announce that we will be adding another member to our family in August! Luke will be a great big brother!”
The good news was received well by a number of people who commented with congratulatory words, but a few people thought the pregnancy was a bad thing. It appears those people are not supporters of Eric or his father, President Donald Trump.
A number of people responded by saying the country was “full” and the new addition wasn’t wanted. Their comment was based on the immigration policies implemented by the president.
The president has been responsible for separating migrant children from their parents at US borders. The mock-comment was also a direct reference to Donald’s tweet on April 7 where he wrote “Our Country is FULL!”
At the time, he was referring to illegal immigrants coming in from Mexico. Eric and his wife have been married since 2014, and although their son is also named Eric; they usually call him Luke.
Lara also took to Twitter to share the news with her own followers. While sharing two extra pictures showing the family of three with their dogs she wrote, "Baby number two coming this August!! All of the boys are excited to become big brothers!!"
